Crowdspring competition winner logo for company BitsBuilder. Buyer has very clear view on how they want logo to look like, so the work was easy. The idea was to be able to draw the image in a few line on a blackboard. I kept in mind idea of building from simple elements another form and to play with “lacking” one, to get the effect of 3d. Embracing – new painting
I’m fascinated with textures, old walls, murals, objects destroyed by time. In paintings and etchings I’d like to express a feeling of time passing. I don’t want to make beauty pictures, I’d like them from the beginning to be in process…

Some people play Lotto or lottery games…I’ve found recently CrowdSpring, sure, probably nothing new for you, but for me, just a new hobby. So addictive. You just can’t stop yourself from looking for new competition. It’s great tool for learning about designers and their ideas. Confronting yourself with others. If you are not very particular about being a winner, it’s great fun and motivation to build your own portfolio on many themes.

Krakow – diary 2004-2005
Krakow 2004-2005.
When I came back from Kerala, I couldn’t find my place. I’ve found my temporary home at my friend’s house, near a japanese style garden on a bank of Wisła. Was it a happy time? For sure a time divided between Warsaw and Krakow, working on diploma, very creative time and again lonely, even on a side of my lover/friend.

Kerala – my diary
Kerala:
I was living in Trivandrum in 2003-2004. I’ve found an old biology notebook in a shop with old paper. It has a great colour and notes made in pencil by unknown student. The notes and old, little yellow paper created an original background. I just added my own memories to someone’s notes, and used a time which made this pages yellow as a base for notation of my own experiences expressed by drawing.
